Not a lot to see from the ground. It was very windy couldn't get any drone shots. The images are fenced in for preservation. A good thing! Satellite photos show were people have driven through them. Still a good stop. Walk out to the locations on a short path to each area.
These intaglios were super impressive to see. If you have a drone I highly recommend you use it to get the full sense of scale.
The intaglios’s are much bigger than you think. Really fun to drive all over and look for them.
This was a neat experience and I'm glad I stopped.
In the hot months make sure you wear a hat and bring plenty of water. The shapes are a bit hard to discern from ground level, and the glyphs are best seen from the air. So if you have a drone, bring it it for pictures.
A fun place to spend the day exploring the ancient intaglios's, backroads, trails, mountains. I suggest you park near the hwy unless yoy have tough tires as the rocks are jagged. With an offroad 4x4 you can get to more areas.
Pretty interesting, not very obvious from the highway, free, not a lot of information. Also super hot in the summer.

Is worth every bit of time and effort to see them…visited the three that are fenced in but there are more further along. The fenced in ones are easily accessed even with a regular two-wheel drive, the furtherest…it would be better with four. Beautiful, haunting, mysterious and… thought provoking.
